Battle of the Dances [Pro/Con]
It’s September, school just started, new classes, new friends, new year. Another event to add to the excitement is Homecoming. Later on in the year, students take part in the Sadie Hawkins’ Dance, where the girls ask the guys. Homecoming is better than Sadies. Period.
Tale of two homecomings
Two Bloomfield Hills girls are preparing for homecoming. One matches her velvet dress to her pearls and hops into a Bonneville convertible. A decade later, the other decides to skip the “preppy” dance for an anti-war rally.
